I wonder if Hollywood celebritieis will be submiting their resumes to the Queensland State Department to be considered for the best job in the world. The offer for the Islandreefjob has truly catched the world's attention and surely millions will be vying to become the island caretaker at the Great Barrier Reef to earn the whooping salary of 150,000 Australian dollars (105,000 US dollars) for just a six-month employment that involves nothing but strolling the Great Barrier Reef's white sand, snorkeling its reef and taking care of a few other minor tasks. But are we going to see Hollywood personalities among the aspirants?
Since this is a marketing strategy to save the Great Barrier Reef's 18 million dollar a year tourism industry, the Queensland State Department should consider hiring a few Hollywood celebrities as part of the eleven candidates. This should help realize the objectives of the Queensland State Department more effectively having high-profile celebrities as their tourism ambassadors. So Hollywood stars, any takers?
